She was captain of the 2012 "Fierce Five" as well as the in 2016 the "Final Five," U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she was awarded a gold medal in the team competition which made her and teammates Gabby Douglas and Gabby Douglas the sole Americans who won back-toback team gold medals. Raisman received silver medals in the individual all-around, and floor exercise. Raisman has silver medals from the individual all-around, as well as for the floor exercise. She is also two-time national champion in the floor exercise (2012 in 2012 and 2015), the 2012 national champion on the balance beam and five times a medalist in the all-around competition at the national championships (silver in 2016, and bronze in 2010, 2011 and also in 2015). She was inducted into International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame (2013).
