Anamaria Martinca, an actress from Romania. Her screen debut was with Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film for which she won the British Academy Television Award as the Best Actress. She speaks fluently French, German English, as well as Romanian. Her mother played the violin, Her father is a theatre professor at one of the best Romanian acting schools. The film won her many accolades, such as an award from the European Film Award Best Actress for the London Film Critics. In 2007, she was in on the Romanian film 4 luni 3 semaines si2 (4 Months, 3 Weeks 4 Months 3 Weeks and 2 Days), produced by Cristian Mungiu (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days). The film received two prizes at the Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). She also appeared in the film of Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. In 2008, Marinca played Yasim in BBC's Five-Episode The Last Enemy. Marinca had roles in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well as the Romanian drama Boogie. Later, she had an important role in 2014's Fury in which she portrayed Irma her German aunt of Emma.
