Belknap is a native of Damariscotta in Maine. She is the child of David Belknap, as well as Louise Belknap. She attended Lincoln Academy located in Newcastle, Maine. When she moved into New York City, she started acting in films as well as TV series. Camp divorced her Pitch Perfect co-star 32 after two years in April 2019.
